Last year brought significant changes to the residential markets of the Central European countries. The economic downturn affected this area of the property market in the region relatively severely. Because of strict banking policies, economic uncertainty and concern about the development of the market, residential construction in Central Europe experienced a significant decline in sales and new investments.
