Construction and assembly output up by 24.7% y-o-y in June 2018

In June 2018, the value of construction and assembly output (at constant prices), comprising investment and renovation works, generated in Poland by construction companies employing more than nine workers increased by 24.7% when compared to June 2017, and by 20.6% month on month, according to preliminary data from GUS. In January-June 2018, the indicator went up by 23.7% year on year.

Year-on-year increases in construction and assembly output were recorded across all segments of the construction industry: companies specialised in building construction reported a 33.6% growth, companies whose core business is civil engineering construction had a 26.9% uptick and enterprises focused on specialist construction registered a 10.4% increase in output.
