Energa upgrading Ostroleka power station

Energa, an energy concern, is planning to beef up its power station in Ostroleka. It intends to install a new 1,000 MW block at the station by 2015, at an estimated cost of around €1.5 million per 1 MW of power. Ostroleka's current power capacity is roughly 800 MW.
The concern is also considering building a 90-120 MW water-generated power station on the Vistula. The cost of building the plant will be around PLN 30m per 1 MW.
Energa is one of four electricity concerns operating in Poland. It provides services to more than 2.7 million customers in central and northern parts of the country.
