Railway construction market in Poland to top €1.4bn in 2015
Following the rapid growth of the industry’s construction and assembly output by nearly one-third in 2013 and 2014, railway construction and assembly output is also expected to grow in the double-digit range as it is poised to exceed PLN 6bn (€1.4bn)in 2015 for the first time on record, according to PMR’s latest report entitled “Railway construction in Poland 2015-2020. Investments – Companies – Statistics – Forecasts – Prices”. However, since projects funded in the new EU programming period take off slowly, the railway construction industry is likely to see a decline in 2016.
