Business-consumer confidence improves in August

GKI’s combined consumer and business confidence index increased again from -12.9 points in July to -9.6 points in August. The business confidence index went up to -4.7 points in August from -7.1 points in July. The consumer confidence index reached -23.4 points in August up from -29.3 points in July.
In construction sector the confidence index practically stagnated in August. The assessment of production and that of stock of orders in construction in the last three months remained unchanged.
