Work on Swinna-Poreba dam to take until 2015 to complete

The Ministry of the Environment has prepared a draft statute providing financing for a water dam in Swinna-Poreba, Gazeta Wyborcza reported.
According to the bill, which will be voted on by the Sejm in September this year, all work on the dam must be completed by 2015. The sum of PLN 300m (€76.9m) is to be spent on building the structure over the next two years. Moreover, in the 2013-2015 time frame another PLN 1.1bn (€282m) will be assigned from the state budget for this purpose.
