Romanian construction output continued downward trend in June

Construction output in Romania continued to decrease in June 2010, dropping by 5.2% year-on-year, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INSSE). The most significant decline was registered in the residential segment, where construction output decreased by 20.6% in June this year compared to the corresponding period of 2009. Non-residential construction output fell by 8%, while civil engineering increased by 4.7%.
