2010-07-27
The construction group
Eurovia has completed the process of integrating its daughter companies
ODS-Dopravni stavby Ostrava and
Eurovia Brno in the Czech Republic. Eurovia bought a majority stake in ODS-Dopravni stavby Ostrava (formerly Stavby silnic a zeleznic) back in 1998 and became the company’s sole owner in the summer of 2009. ODS-Dopravni stavby Ostrava is the largest
road and civil engineering constructor in terms of sales revenues in the Moravia-Silesia region in the Czech Republic.
The history of Eurovia Brno dates back to 1991 when the firm Silnice Brno was created. Silnice Brno in 1995 was purchased by Eurovia and in 2009 its name was changed to Eurovia Brno. Eurovia became Eurovia Brno’s sole owner at the end of 2009. The company specialises in construction and repairs of all types of motorways and expressways, mostly in South Moravia.
The Eurovia group currently has 22 regional offices in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
