11.3% fewer dwellings completed in 2009

In 2009 the number of dwellings completed in Hungary was 31,994, a 11.3% year-on-year reduction. Almost all of the regions witnessed a fall in numbers with the exception of Southern Transdanubia, where the number of new completed residences did not change in comparison with 2008. The most substantial reduction was observed in the Northern Great Plain region.
