Ulma Construction Polska, a supplier of scaffolding and formwork, reported a jump in orders recently, which may be a sign of a recovery in the construction branch, Parkiet reported.
The main reason for the increase in contracts is the infrastructure construction branch, where many investments are subsidised with EU cash. The company has also observed an upturn on foreign markets, including in Romania and Kazachstan. The company's main investment priority at the present time is the construction of a logistics-warehouse centre and a new headquarters in Koszajec near Warsaw. Construction work on these undertakings is due to get underway in the near future, and should be concluded by the end of 2011.
